Four years after her acting debut, Kunis landed the role of Jackie on That ’70s Show at just 14 years old — the youngest of the cast — and actually lied about her age to land the gig. “Legally, I was 14. I mean — I told them that I was a little bit older … I was in ninth grade, so I was pretty 14,” Kunis told Jay Leno during an appearance on The Tonight Show in 2012 (via YouTube). “I told them I was gonna be 18, which … is not technically a lie, ‘cause at one point, given all things went right, I was gonna be 18.” Ashton Kutcher, who played her love interest on That ’70s Show and is now married to her, admitted that her age was concerning when they starred on the show together. “It was really weird. I was like, ‘Isn’t this illegal? Like, am I allowed?’” he said of kissing Kunis while appearing on an episode of The Howard Stern Show in 2017. “It was really awkward, cause I’m like a 19-year-old kid … She was 14! She was like my little sister. I wanted to make sure she was okay.”
